Can't I just ask ChatGPT?
Fair question. We hear it every day. Here is the honest answer, from people who build AI systems for a living.
Short answer: sometimes, yes
If you want to brainstorm what AI could do for a business like yours, learn what a term means before you talk to anyone, or draft an email, ChatGPT is genuinely good. It is also free. Use it for those things. We mean that.
But “should I spend real money building this for my business” is a different kind of question. That one deserves an answer built on your market’s real numbers and real build costs, from someone willing to tell you no.
Yes, we use AI too. So what's different?
Our assessment runs on a frontier AI model, same species as ChatGPT. The difference is not AI versus no AI. The difference is what the model is given, and what it is made to do:
- Live market demand, not vibes. ChatGPT answers from general knowledge. It cannot see how many people actually searched for the thing your idea does last month. We pull that data ourselves from Google’s own advertising numbers, and our server attaches the real figure to your read. The model is never allowed to make demand numbers up.
- Costs calibrated on builds we shipped. Ask a general chatbot what an AI system costs and you get an average of the whole internet. Our cost bands come from systems we actually built and run.
- A verdict with consequences. Our engine is tuned to say “don’t build it” and it often does. When it says something is worth building, we are the ones who then have to quote it and build it at that price. A general chatbot never has to live with its answer, and by default it is agreeable.
- A human on the other end. The $29 report is written by the founder personally. The free consultation is his real inbox. ChatGPT cannot reply to a follow-up email next Tuesday.
The same question, three ways
| ChatGPT | Our free read | The $29 report | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | ✓Free | ✓Free | ✓$29, one time |
| Speed | ✓Instant | ✓Instant | ✓Within 48 hours |
| Real Google demand numbers | —Estimates from general knowledge | ✓Real monthly searches, attached by our server, where they apply | ✓Yes, where they apply |
| Build + running costs | ~Generic internet averages | ✓Bands calibrated on builds we shipped | ✓Your exact breakdown |
| Says "don’t build it" | ~If you push it | ✓A built-in verdict. Half the point | ✓Yes, with the cheaper path spelled out |
| A firm build quote | —No | —No | ✓On the last page |
| A human who answers | —No | ✓Email the founder, free | ✓The founder writes it |
Being fair to ChatGPT here is deliberate. If a free general answer genuinely serves you better, we would rather you know that.
Don't take our word for it
Take your idea and ask ChatGPT. Then run the exact same words through our free read and put the two answers side by side. One of them will have your market’s real numbers on it. That is the whole pitch.
