What AI actually costs

$750 to $18,000, in four tiers, priced from builds we've actually shipped. Not a quote calculator, a real starting frame.

TIER 1

A simple assistant that answers from your own docs or FAQs, a missed-call text-back, or a basic follow-up automation.

Build$750 – $2,000
Running~$20–60 / mo
Timeline5–10 days
TIER 2

AI-driven customer acquisition (ads, landing page, and AI handling the leads), quote or invoice automation wired into one other system, or a knowledge-capture / second-brain setup.

Build$2,000 – $4,500
Running~$60–200 / mo
Timeline2–3 weeks
TIER 3

A customer-facing AI product with real accounts and payments, or anything that has to wire multiple systems together.

Build$4,500 – $9,000
Running~$150–400 / mo
Timeline3–6 weeks
TIER 4

An autonomous system that makes its own decisions and runs without you watching it.

Build$9,000 – $18,000
Running~$300–700 / mo
Timeline6–12 weeks

Running cost is infrastructure only, hosting, APIs, the tools it takes to keep it live. It is never a maintenance fee to us. Big builds usually start as a priced first phase, two tiers down from the full quote, so you can see the thing working before committing to the rest.

Where these numbers come from

These bands aren't invented for a webpage. Tier 2's floor is anchored on real logged hours: a lead-gen system we built and still run took 32 to 40 actual hours. This site's own money path, the free read, the $29 checkout, the email pipeline, shipped in one day. The bands are the starting frame; your actual quote inside (or occasionally outside) one of them comes after we know your real job.

How the final quote works

  • A firm price per phase, and the phases add up to a stated total.
  • A real stop point: finish phase one and you owe phase one, nothing more.
  • The assumptions it rests on, named up front, not buried.
  • Good for 30 days, so it can't follow you into next year.

Sometimes the honest answer is a tool, not a build

A lot of ideas are already solved by something off the shelf. Some of those tools are genuinely free, most land under $300 a month, and a few run higher, up to about $750 for crew scheduling and dispatch. When a tool wins, we say so. If you want it set up and wired into what you already run, that's a one-time $100 to $300 for most tools, or $300 to $800 when it means real data migration or wiring several systems together. Simple ones, we'll tell you to just turn on yourself.

Pricing questions

Why a range and not one price?

Because two jobs in the same tier are never identical. The range is the honest span; your actual quote inside it depends on the specifics, and you see the firm number before anything starts.

What moves a job up a tier?

How many systems have to talk to each other, how much custom logic it needs, whether real accounts or payments are involved, and whether it has to run on its own without you checking it.

Is the monthly number a subscription to you?

No. That's infrastructure only, hosting, APIs, the tools it takes to keep it live. Ongoing support or maintenance with us is separate and optional, quoted on its own if you want it.

What if a ready-made tool already does this?

Then that's the honest answer and we say so. Some of those tools are genuinely free, most land under $300 a month, and a few run higher; the free read tells you straight which side yours is on.
